A LOOK
Colombia is a beautiful country possessing very different landscapes and climates.  Two oceans bath her coasts and along these are marsh and jungles.  The steep andean mountains divide the coast from the spacious eastern plains.  To the south prevails the dense humid jungle.  The ethnic diversity is dense and varied.  In whatever geographic point one can find ethnic groups of Indians.  Many ethnic groups share  similar linguistics but then others are totally unique in their language as well as their culture.  More than 80 ethnic groups have their own language and culture. Only in a few there is serious work to plant churches.   There is still a lot to do.  But Colombia is also a country of political unrest.  The influence of the armed groups has noticeably affected the missionary work among the Indian people spread through all the country.  However, the situation is improving and God put before us opportunities to adapt to difficult conditions that we face while working for Him.

Under these conditions we have established certain priorities in our work:

• To maintain the actually works and develope others where the missionaries can have a continual physical presence.
• In the cases where the missionaries are no able to be present for security reasons, prepare the native workers so that they can continue on with the missionary work.
• To maintain and improve the training as a source to train Colombian and latinamerican workers.
• To challenge and teach the Colombian and Latin churches how to carry out the missionary work among the ethnic groups.
• To open new works in Colombia and at the same time make the Church aware of mission fields around the World.
